PM Imran Khan's interview on private TV: "If an army chief had attacked Kargil without asking me, he would have fired him."

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan has learned from the past that the job of the army is not to run the country and that if the democratic system is not working properly, it does not mean that martial law should be brought in its place.

Talking on private TV Sama News program 'Nadeem Malik Live', the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan said that the past is for learning and we have learned from the past that the job of the army is not to run the country.

Referring to former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif was never a democrat.

Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif was made a politician by the military generals.

He was brought up by the army first, from General Jilani to General Zia-ul-Haq. He was made a politician by holding hands and sucking in his mouth.

First his problem was with Ghulam Ishaq, then General Asif Janjua, Nawaz Sharif himself promoted Musharraf but there was also a problem with him, he brought General Raheel and then there was a problem with him, then the choice of General Bajwa himself. But they also had a problem.

Talking about the bad relations between PML-N and the army, Imran Khan said, "They come to steal and our agencies find out about their thefts." They control the civil institutions, Nawaz Sharif also controls the judiciary, their problem was that the rest of the institutions were under control but the army was not under control, the reason for their fight with the army was that it Wanted to control

Imran Khan added that when the army was not under his (Nawaz Sharif's) control, they would become democratic.

"Nawaz Sharif says that General Zaheer-ul-Islam came to me and told me to resign. Brother, you are the Prime Minister. Did he have the courage to say this to you? You should have answered him."

In response to a question, Imran Khan said, "I am a democratically elected Prime Minister and if anyone tells me so, I will demand his immediate resignation." I am the Prime Minister of the country and who dares to come and say that to me.

"If an army chief had attacked Kargil without asking me, I would have fired him," he added.

Imran Khan said, "We have to decide that if an army chief made a mistake in the past, is it necessary to curse the entire army forever?" If Justice Munir made a wrong decision, have we to blame the judiciary all our lives? If politicians steal the country's money and take it out, are all politicians bad? '

Talking about the current civil-military relations, he said that the reason for the harmony between the army and the government today is that they are working in their own sphere.

The current civil-military relationship is one of the best in Pakistan's history and the reason is that Pakistan's military stands behind a fully democratic government.

"The democratic government is working according to its manifesto and the army is standing by it. My policy has always been clear and today the Pakistan Army stands by my policy.

"Without the army, the country would have been divided into three parts."

Criticizing Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Imran Khan said, "The game Nawaz Sharif is playing is very dangerous. That is what Altaf Hussain did."

"I make it clear that India is 100 per cent behind them because our enemies have an interest in weakening Pakistan's military," he added.

"I tell them to open their eyes for God's sake and see the fires in Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen and the entire Muslim world and if we did not have a Pakistani army today, the country would be divided into three parts," he said. ۔ '

"I don't care about the opposition."

Talking about the role of the opposition, Prime Minister Imran Khan said, "I don't care what they want to do. They are sitting outside and targeting the army and the judiciary in order to increase the pressure and somehow sit down." Get NRO like Musharraf.

Demanding the resignation of the opposition All Parties Conference, he said, "If the Prime Minister resigns, his theft will be avoided and we will deal with the rest which will not happen. They have a peaceful protest." That's right. '

Talking about the government's plan for PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif's repatriation from London, the Prime Minister said, "We have made an immediate plan. We are asking the British government to send them back. Tell a lie." The culprit went out. No culprit is given such exemption but we allowed him to go out on humanitarian grounds.

The Prime Minister said, "Nawaz Sharif is meeting outsiders regularly and conspiring against Pakistan. We are recalling him."

"If anyone asks, Asim Saleem will interrogate Bajwa."

Asked about giving a clean chit to retired General Asim Saleem Bajwa, he said, "If we differentiate the law for the weak and the strong in the country, our country will never move forward, if anyone asks any more questions." We will interrogate them.

Case against Justice Faiz Issa
